1. Information we collect

When you install the App we receive the following from Shopify:

• Your store's domain and the access token needed to call the Shopify API on your behalf
• Basic information about the staff member who installs or opens the App (name, email address and language), as provided by Shopify
• Your subscription plan and billing status

The App does not have access to payment card details. Payments are processed by Shopify.

2. Customer information

To apply customer prices the App stores the Shopify customer IDs that you add to customer groups or price rules, and writes a small membership record to those customers as a metafield in your store. Customer names and email addresses are read from Shopify when you view them in the App and are not stored on our servers.

3. How we use information

We use the information only to:

• Provide, maintain and secure the App
• Apply your discount rules at checkout and on your storefront
• Manage your subscription
• Respond to your support requests and send important service notices

4. Where data is stored

Your price rules, customer groups and product groups are stored in our database hosted with our infrastructure provider, together with your session data and plan status. Membership records are stored as metafields in your own Shopify store. All data is encrypted in transit.

5. Sharing

We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We share it only with service providers who host the App on our behalf, with Shopify as part of operating the App, or when required by law.

6. Data retention and deletion

When you uninstall the App, your sessions are deleted immediately. Shopify then sends a deletion request, after which we delete all remaining data for your store within 48 hours. Settings stored as metafields in your store are managed by Shopify.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA) you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. Contact us to exercise these rights. We respond to customer data requests forwarded by Shopify within the required time.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections, signed requests from Shopify and limited access to production systems.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, notify you in the App.
